My journey into photography actually began with painting. I was fortunate to study under two remarkable artists, Rush Brown and Gregory Green, whose mentorship profoundly shaped the way I see the world. They took me from a young artist with a natural ability to draw and taught me the deeper principles of visual art—color, light, composition, and the subtle ways the human eye perceives the world around us. Their guidance not only transformed me into a painter but also laid the foundation for everything I would later bring to photography.
